While Tata were fed up of their Tata Nano plant to be put up in West bengal.
Tata was promised 900 acres of land out of which 700 was allotted to them and 200 was disputed, also they were fed up of the marxist working style, strike threats etc. Tata's issued a statementthat they are no longer intrested in putting up the plant in West Bengal and thinking of the options anywhere else in India. Narendra Modi then CM Gujrat heard of it and asked his team to mark the areas with 1000-1200 acres of land where no agriculture was possible and the land was barren at 5 different locations: near Ahmedabad, near ports, suitably located near road networks etc. The taem was given a time frame of a fortnight to finish the work. By the time in few days Tatas started looking for alternatives and Modi's PA called on Tata boss to have a cup of tea with the CM of Gujrat. When Tata boss arrived Modi ji was ready and showed him the presentation and offereda land 20-30 % more than they were looking for. Tatas were notprepared for such a quick response and asked for some time and were surprised and went back. After discussions Tatas preffered a land near Ahmedabad, so that they can get easy work force and other facilities and the land was transffered to them in another 15 days and the Plant of TATANano was started. this is how Modiji works. Next was Ford and then Maruti, who were fed up of the strikes etc. by the Gurgaon plant. Japanese were clever and asked for more than 3000 acres of land.This is how Modi works and gets the best to his Gujju's. Now we expect the same from him for we Indians.
